The Story Behind The Product

This elegant pitcher was first produced in silver in 1952 and was first re-issued, rendered in polished steel in 2008. Part of the MASTERPIECES collection, it is a modern interpretation of Georg Jensen’s legacy of fine Danish craftsmanship.

Affectionately nicknamed ‘the pregnant duck’, this beautiful pitcher was designed by Georg Jensen’s most highly regarded designer Henning Koppel. The famous piece was relaunched in 2008 to coincide with the sculptor turned designer’s 90th birthday.
